When the going gets tough, nothing is more important than knowing how to ground yourself and live mindfully.
Just consider this quote: "Man is not worried by real problems so much as by his imagined anxieties about real problems." - Epictetus
Anxiety is something that I've lived with for several years now. Whenever I'm feeling like my thoughts are clouded with negativity, I turn to my coping strategies to get me through the day.
If you're also someone who deals with anxiety on a daily basis, I'm sure you've been searching for ways to relax your mind, body, and soul.
Here are 3 tools I highly recommend to help alleviate your anxiety:
Yoga: If you're a fan of yoga and prefer working out from the comfort of your own home, YogaWorks is the perfect fit for you! With over 25 daily live stream classes and 1,300 on-demand classes, YogaWorks is the best at-home, online yoga program out there. And, best of all, they offer a free at-home trial for 2 weeks. *Click here to learn more about YogaWorks!*
2. Coloring Books: Coloring has always been a highly therapeutic activity for me. Just focusing on every stroke of your crayon, colored pencil, or marker on each shape of the pages can be extremely relaxing! Plus, it's a great distraction for your mind. If you're looking for some fun coloring books to help you channel your inner child, Crayola has plenty to choose from! They're also great to work on with your kiddos, too, if you're a mama like me!

3. Meditation Apps: When it comes to meditation, these two apps come to mind right away: Calm and InsightTimer. Both apps have several guided meditation and sleep exercises to choose from, and there are several different instructors you can select to follow on InsightTimer, too! Both apps are free to download, but Calm does have a yearly fee to access their entire library of content (which, I still highly recommend).
I hope these tools help you alleviate your anxiety, too!
May peace and happiness be with you, always!
